Caspar Jones

 
 

As an actor, Caspar trained at the Actors Institute (London), the Mime Centre (London) and Fooltime Circus School (Bristol). Additonally, he trained with actors from Peter Brook’s company and members of Teatre de Complicité.

Caspar has a wide range of experience as an actor and in very varied circumstances: from performing on the streets of El Salvador during the Civil War to “Romeo and Juliet” at the Royal Albert Hall.

While living in London, he performed weekly improvised theatre shows with Katherine Tate in the group, Mad Lib.

Relocating to Barcelona, Spain, he co-founded Escapade Theatre Company, performing in Steven Berkoff’s versions of “Metamorphosis”, “Decadence” and devising and performing the comedy “Dinner For One”.

In 2005, he performed with Catalan company, La Cubana, in the English version of their show Comeme el Coco Negro, “Nuts Coconuts”,  which was produced by and performed at the Edinburgh Festival.

Caspar has appeared in a number of films including “The Sea Change” (with Ray Winstone), “Stevie” and “Slam”.

He can more recently be seen as Defence Minister, Abbatelli in the new ABC television series “Still Star Crossed”.
